Words of Praise!!
Hello All, I've only been using Mellel about a month. However, in that month, I've touched a lot of features and capabilities. Overall, I must say, the product delivers features, performance and a reasonable price. I have found the support in this community very helpful. Just yesterday I decided to ...

Re: Wishlist 2008
Hi,
I've got a few mostly cosmetic suggestions:
The ability to delete/save a Find List directly the move box.
The name of the Open Find List, or untitled if new, should be displayed in the find dialog especially after loading a saved find set.

Table Of Contents Questions
Hi, I have a file without a lot of in-line text to use to generate Auto-titles and hence, a TOC. So I tried making a separate file containing only the text that I want in the TOC of the primary document. I realize I would have to mimic the page count etc to get the page numbers right. I figure I can...

Re: Newbie help needed with Auto-Titles
Thank you Nica for your interest and inquiry. I am building a 96 page book that has 18 to 20 different page headers. Several of those repeat on intervening pages. The book I am building is something like a dictionary. It is reference content. It is not a heading/paragraph type of text so it really d...

Re: Newbie help needed with Auto-Titles
Hmmm, I was just thinking... without Auto-Titles and mentions being pulled from the text of the page into the header, is there a way I can automatically build a Table of Contents from the header contents? If not, I guess I can create a page style for a TOC and drop the headers and page numbers in ma...

Re: Newbie help needed with Auto-Titles
Thank you Patrick.
It looks like I added some unneeded complexity.
I will drop the table in the header and go with page styles and changing static headers as that seems to best suit my need.
Thanks again for placing me on the correct path...

Newbie help needed with Auto-Titles
Hi, I am new to Mellel. I have only been working with the software for a few days and I am VERY impressed by the feature set. I am writing a book where I want to have different headers on different pages. I have read the Mellel documentation, the Beginner's Guide, worked with the software and watche...
