Oh, yeah, I forgot that Lion hides the user library by default (assuming we'll mess things up,I guess). Sheesh. Or, rather, grrrrrr.
thanks again for your help!

Re: Where Are Style Sets and Templates Stored?
Thanks for the quick response! And the "default set" style document should be there too? I have no Mellel folder in my library / application support folder, and I'm assuming that's because I have no templates there yet, but I'd have thought that the style settings documents might be there ...

Where Are Style Sets and Templates Stored?
Hi all--sorry to bother you with what is, for many of you, probably a basic question, but I'm wondering where my (now modified) "default style set" is stored, and where templates are stored, if I make those as well? I'd have assumed it was all under "application support / library/ mel...

Re: In case of emergency…
Hi all--I'd just like to say that two of the things I've come to value most about Mellel are its speed and its stability. Well--third thing--I also admire its comparative simplicity, once one understands a few of its operating concepts. In the all-too-common rush to have new releases, upgrades, addi...

Re: Character style formatting in New Version's Auto-Title panel
Thanks for this help, DRM: excellent. So, to make sure I'm not taking too many extra steps and / or filling up my Style Set with too many items, I'd like to describe the modification process I'm using: I want to change the first four or so Levels of "title flow" to make the font Georgia an...

Character style formatting in New Version's Auto-Title panel
Hi all--sorry if this query has been answered before; I've done some searching on the forum and the tutorials / manuals and haven't found it. I'm working with Outlines (Auto-Title flows) in Mellel 2.7.3 and I'm having trouble figuring out how to permanently change the character format of headings at...

footnotes / numbering
Hi all--I've done some searching in this board index and can't find the answer to my question, though I apologize if it's buried in an earlier discussion somewhere. I'm trying simply to format footnotes on an article I'm writing so that the note number is superscript in the text but not superscripte...
