With the greatest respect, for those of us who have to maintain communication with the Real World (a.k.a. Poor Fools Who Know No Better) (a.k.a. Publishers), *nothing* could be more important than compatibility with Word's comment and track changes features. It's the main reason I have other WPs on...

I think the objections to this idea are a little pedantic. Save and Export are conceptually different, but there is a practical problem here. Using a non-mainstream WP in a Word-oriented world. Some people work with others who don't use Mellel. For me, this world includes: students, journal editors,...

These are good suggestions. I particularly like ignoring the % marks and other preceding text. I frequently insert text before the citation itself, for example, \for a review, see \ ... So currently: %Tipper '93 gets sorted to the top of the list, Tipper '93 to the middle, and \for a review, see \Ti...
