Re: What's next for Mellel 3.4?
A Continuous View Mode ; i.e. something akin to a Draft View that does away with the page division line. Or at least a command in the View Menu to Show/Hide the page division line. The page division line interrupts the creative flow of writing during drafting a document so an option to hide it would...

Feature request: Dark Interface option
It would be great to have a dark interface option so that the grey metal interface elements can be changed to black in Mellel Preferences. Simultaneously, the background of the Outline pane changes to black. The Autotitles appearing in the Outline pane would have then to be changed to a white typefa...

Keeping track with additional Auto-Title Information:
Writing on a fairly complex document over an extended period of time and not in a strict from-start-to-end-mode, I have begun to colour-code individual chapter Auto-Titles with Marker colours to better keep track of each chapters progress: Red Marker = Not really started yet (just some preliminary i...

Re: Getting rid of the line in the compact view?
As far as I can remember, there used to be a third viewing mode — Draft View— around version 1.8.5 and it did not have the page division line. I second the request to have an option in the View Menu to show/hide the black page division line as it interrupts the text flow in the draft writing process...

Re: Support for PPC
I am also using a G5 PPC machine. It still runs without any hitches so I don't see the need to upgrade to a new Mac. I have skipped the update 2.9.2 as Leopard was obviously not affected by the disappearing cursor bug. But I anxiously hope that 3.0 will still run on Leopard. Mellel is one of my most...

Re: Missing text model dictionary
I get the error on the latest version 2.9.1. It also occured occasionally on version 2.9.0. As far as I can remember it only happens when I double-click a Mellel file in the Finder. It does not happen when I open a Mellel file within Mellel from File/Open Recent.

Missing text model dictionary
About 20% of the time when want to open a Mellel file by double-clicking it, I am greeting with a message saying that "the document could not be opened. Missing text model dictionary." This happens on my PPC Mac running Leopard and Intel MacBookAir running Snow Leopard. The solution is qui...

Re: Open Recent with shortcut
I have also tried other methods to quickly access recently used Mellel documents: Dragging individual Mellel files to the Dock quickly clutters the Dock up. Besides, the Dock icons do not dynamically update. They have to be placed there manually and removed when no longer needed. The Mellel files I ...

Open Recent with shortcut
It's only a minor issue but every time I use Mellel (which starts automatically on start-up), I have to go with the mouse pointer to File/Open Recent and then click on the document in the list I want to work on. An assigned keyboard shortcut for Open Recent does not bring up the pop-up window with t...

Re: Apple Dictionary/Thesaurus
I am working with Mac OS 10.4.11 and I have just found out that the system keyboard shortcut for Look Up in Dictionary did not work because the menu command under the Services menu is called Look U p in Dictionary whereas the menu command for Keyboard Shortcuts in the System Preferences is called Lo...

Re: Wishlist for version 2.6
Here are my suggestions for 2.6, or is the feature set already fixed and we can list our wishes for 2.7? Most Urgent: First additional feature request; Improved Autotitles and Outline Pane: 1.1) Text wrap in Outline Pane: as some Autotitles are longer than Chapter 1, Chapter 2; it would be nice to h...
