Importing old autotitle formats into Mellel 5.1
I've been using Mellel for quite a while, and have my favorite autotitle streams/styles that I have used for various document types in the past. Now I'm using Mellel 5.1, and I can't find these old styles listed in the autotitle style dropdown list. When I open an older document, its autotitle style...

Re: Shortcut to expand or collapse outline
The properties pane closes like this when I open it within the document. I just click somewhere else on the document and it disappears. But when I open it in the outline window, I have to click on that little x at the bottom of the pane, another exercise in hand-eye coordination.

Re: Shortcut to expand or collapse outline
Similarly, it would be great if I could close the properties pane of an outline element (once it was opened) simply by clicking on another outline element, rather than by taking the mouse all the way down to the bottom of the pane and centering it right on top of the teeny tiny little x that closes ...

Re: Shortcut to expand or collapse outline
Maybe just click or double click anywhere to the left of the little triangle to expand or collapse the child layers? This would be a much bigger target for the mouse than that little triangle is. Clicking ON the outline title text could still open the properties pane. This would be a more intuitive ...

Shortcut to expand or collapse outline
I love the Mellel outline feature. But as far as I can see, the only way to expand or collapse the outline is to click on the little triangle to the left of the outline element. This triangle is quite small, and I have to position the mouse exactly, precisely on top of it in order to click it. This ...

Re: increase font size in outline pane?
This issue doesn't appear to have gotten attention. It got worse with vs 3.5. How hard would it be to give us the power to increase the font size here? Those of us whose eyes are a little older are tired of squinting to read the outline structure. I asked about this a year ago when it all got worse,...

Re: Mellel 3.1
I have experienced the same problem eduardus describes, with jumpy screen rewrites. But it gets worse than jumpiness. Images disappear. And then the document hangs completely, and refuses to save. This happens to me quite frequently now, especially if I have a long document open, or if I have severa...

Re: Horizontal lines on screen
I'm not sure which upgrade it was, Eyal. It's definitely been a lot worse since late August. I've been installing the updates when they were proffered to me, but was out of town the first couple of weeks of August. It seems to happen more often when several documents have been opened for a while in ...

Re: Horizontal lines on screen
I've been having the same problem in Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on a 2 GHz 2011 Powerbook with 8 GB of RAM with Mellel 3.0.1 (build 2). Sometimes lines form that disappear when I scroll. But sometimes entire blocks of text and page disappear into grey. Sometimes images won't draw. Closing other programs to...

Modifing note stream hot keys
I have a large number of documents in which I use end notes, and occasional foot notes. I used the <option><cmd><N> key combination for the foot notes, and the <option><cmd><M> key combination for comments (as end notes). These keystroke options were on the selection list in the Note Streams Attribu...
