I have also tried creating my own set of auto-titles for the appendix, but I cannot get these to embed into each other (the option for "Prev. #" before Curr# is not available). It seems this is not a possibility with added auto-titles. Need advice.

Is there a way to reset an auto-title for one usage? Can I use Auto-title level 1 with no numbering?

Addendum:

I now know that if I close the program and reopen, the para. style remains the same, but it can be changed. Quite annoying though to do this each time (otherwise I have to mark all the citations I do to do en masse later).

The combination of Mellel and Bookends has developed a problem regarding paragraph style. This has never happened up til now (using the most current version of both programs).
