Re: Any way to automate autotitle creation?

In the mean time, I have renamed my autotitles Level 1, Level 2, etc. Then under my Mac's keyboard shortcuts, created my own shortcuts CMD + SHFT + OPT + 1, CMD + SHFT + OPT + 2, etc. Works wonders. I finally spent some time using System Prefs to set up some shortcuts, too. Had to rework a few thin...

Re: Feature request: Notes

On this issue, I'd love to see comments expanded into a notes feature: 1) a place for notes (as suggested above) 2) a way to connect notes to text if so desired (like at present with comments) 3) colors, fonts, labels for different kind of notes 4) option to show or hide comments/notes marker in tex...

Re: Any way to automate autotitle creation?

Agreed. Some way to automate the creation of autotitles would be nice - maybe through a find and replace...? In the mean time, I have renamed my autotitles Level 1, Level 2, etc. Then under my Mac's keyboard shortcuts, created my own shortcuts CMD + SHFT + OPT + 1, CMD + SHFT + OPT + 2, etc. Works w...

Find and Replace - Import

The find and replace feature in Mellel is great. But what if I wanted to import a list of find and replace texts? For example, if I list of abbreviations that I wanted to change over, is there a way to import them? Or do I have to do each one manually?

Thanks!

Re: Printing & track changes margin line

An old post but I'm not sure where things stand on annotations in print or otherwise... I suggest providing options for the following: - show/hide annotation marks (including comments) while viewing doc (kind of like an invisible) - the little yellow boxes around the words annotated - show/hide anno...

Re: Feature request: Notes

+1

I've tried using Comments but there is not way to get them out in any automated fashion.

I make an extensive use of endnotes / footnotes as a work around, but its not ideal.

Thanks.

Re: Slow writing under El Capitan

Same. Mellel has been slow and sludgy. I'm on El Capitan - latest. All kinds of things are getting hung up in the app that usually don't have any problem.

Anyone else?

Thanks.

rpcameron wrote:MultiMarkdown only takes MMD documents as input, then exports those. However, there are XSLT files included to present the OPML as Markdown. To render those as text, you would need to run them through an XSLT translator.
Thanks. I'll check it out.

Re: Copy and paste between different paragraph styles

However, in the case of 2, it is possible if you are you are using style variations. Option 2 is merely changing the style, not applying a style to text that had none. When changing styles, variations are kept intact. Thanks. I'm working with it and it is making more sense. Thanks for the pointers ...

Thanks! I found a free app called Texts http://www.texts.io

Does MultiMarkdown have the ability to import OPML? Then convert it to MD?

Re: Copy and paste between different paragraph styles

Style variations will do that. Just set up your variations similarly, so when you change paragraph/character styles, the underlying text retains which variation it is. So are you saying I can apply a partial character style to a text...? If I have a text with red and bold and superscript etc all mi...

Re: Misalignment of diacritics in Hebrew text

Ya. They're virtually the same. Though I vaguely remember testing them and seeing slight differences and ended up preferring SBL Hebrew.

Again, wicked thanks. I should have known better!
