Re: I like the new icon, but...
I did not notice and I do not look at the icons in Dock long enough typically but at other times I appreciate the organization and uniformity of things. I opened the application package to expose its contents. I opened Mellelicon.icns in Preview and saved it as a PNG. I opened the PNG in Photoshop. ...

Tables in 5.0
In 5.0 there is an expanded list of options opened by clicking on a gear icon. Why is all of this hidden inside an icon? What is exposed in the Table Palette is mostly initial creation information. That is typically used once while editing, revising, sculpting is typically done many times. Can you a...

Integrate Keyboard Shortcuts
For speed and efficiency Mellel would benefit greatly with the incorporation of keyboard shortcuts. For instance, Tables, adding rows and columns is tedious when you have to navigate the palettes using a mouse cursor. The palette certainly offers a lot of customization and control but workflow is si...

Problem with old files after updating to 4.2.7
I just updated Mellel to 4.2.7 Now all of my existing files have pink wherever I had designated white. How can I correct this without having to manually track everything down and replace it? Also, I had a background image. That still shows up in the Page pallette yet the background appears blank. I ...

Re: Suggest best approach to linked content?
Thank you for the description. I believe DEVONthink is going to be perfect for this. After reading the comparison chart I downloaded the trial of the personal edition to have a go at it. I think I can do what I need with that version.
Thank you for taking the time to offer this suggestion.

Re: Suggest best approach to linked content?
Would you mind describing how you would use DEVONthink for this application? I actually would like something "paperless" I was first thinking of setting up a webpage but running it offline but that seemed clumsy. I really have no idea how I would use DEVONthink after browsing through their webpage. ...

Suggest best approach to linked content?
I have a large collection of chat transcripts I am organizing into a document. Currently the entire dialog is in date sequence and fully displayed. This makes it cumbersome to navigate because the individual sessions can be several pages long. To reduce the bulk I have used both a small and condense...

Tables: locking line positions
I have searched for an answer online. Perhaps I just have not hit upon the ideal keywords. I have not turned up anything. I would like to know whether the lines of a table can be locked in position? I frequently try to economize space where it can be squeezed out so it can be freed up for areas requ...
