Re: Mellel 2.7 is out
On the download page (http://www.redlers.com/formdatadl.html), the description of Mellel is 2.6 and not 2.7. It says, "Mellel 2.6: Server 1 | Server 2 | Server 3 | Server 4"
You will need to update that to 2.7..
Cheers,
Steve

Agreed. Thanks rpcameron for your input and hopefully we can see a newly designed interface.

Re: Simple feature request: Auto-hide palettes
>I do not feel that much productivity is lost by not having the palettes auto-hide. That may well be true for how you use the program. However, I don't agree as I know that I'm losing productive space or efficiency in having to turn it off and on. In the end, the option would be user selectable. >In...

Re: Simple feature request: Auto-hide palettes
As I said, it would be an option that would be user selectable. Therefore, those that find it annoying won't need it on. Secondly, many people (including myself) utilise the dock's ability to auto-hide for the purposes of screen space. Therefore, I assume that some of that group of users may want so...

Simple feature request: Auto-hide palettes
Hi, I have one feature request. Can you make it possible to auto-hide the palettes? I find it annoying that while typing in Mellel that a significant portion of the screen space is obscured by the window palettes. Yes, it is possible to turn them on and off with a keyboard shortuct; however, a simpl...

Re: Greek fonts
In addition, I recommend the following keyboard layout for classical & koine greek: http://www.ntresources.com/font/mackeyboard.htm This really is worth the trouble of installing. All the accents, etc are placed in logical places for an English keyboard. Eg. the smooth breathing accent is on the...

Where in the development cycle is the next version?
The title basically says it all. Has development started on the new version? Any approximate ball park ETA... 2 yrs, 5 yrs, etc.
Just curious on what's going on.

Re: Processor Intensive Operations
I don't know. I do know that mellel is laggy at times in one of my documents. The document that I'm speaking about uses lots of tables and a greek font. Scrolling up and down in this ~7-9 page document is slow.

Re: unable to paste table in mellel
I doubt that mellel knows how to bring the data across to its documents. However, you can create a text from the pasted table's contets. For this, select the pasted contents of the table and then goto edit->convert text to table. This may reproduce your table like it was originally formatted in Neoo...

Congrats on cross refs
Hi, I just wanted to say thanks to the redlers for creating such a great piece of software. The cross refs implementation has made my life so much easier. I've just finished writing a 35 page document with cross refs here and there, and it worked brillantly. It has meant that I've been able to do th...

Re: Some newbie questions
Persist with learning about paragraph/character styles... read the user/guide + mellel tutorial. I have mellel setup with my own style set and now I can just make a new file and start working without worrying about fonts, etc, etc because my style set is just there to use. It's a small investment of...

Re: Mellel 2.5 is here!
Your work on cross ref's must be commended.
Congrats.
I'm not sure if the autotitle-surrounding-style thing is new but that's also very nice. Finally, I can have one auto-title set that works with all my style sets.
