I thought Leopard was to be announced in October 2007?

Will Mellel be ready for Leopard?

Hi, I hope this question hasn't been asked yet; if yes, I apologize for asking again. Will Mellel be ready for Leopard, e.g., run under Leopard? I am no developer so I don't know what is involved in making an app run under an updated OS: Since I am currently writing my final thesis it is essential t...

Go in the auto-titles menu where you can configure your auto titles. There you just have to remove any "Previous" entries, which generate the numbers.

EDIT ::::: I figured at least my problem out: My error was: When defining the subchapters, I had "Prev#1" instead of "Prev#2". When I switched it works fine ... except that I now have the same problem as you, Steve: The TOC is all mixed up :( Hi Steve, you made me check my setup ...

Hi Nicka, thanks a million for the long answer. Like I posted in the "edit" in my last post, I tried your suggestion and it works marvellous! That means I can easily keep my professor happy :) One thing I have to correct: You cannot drag a tagged flow above the very first structured flow. ...

There are probably different ways of getting the result you want. I think using a tagged flow for the 'Main topic' level and structural flows for the rest will work. The tagged flow will need to be dragged above the chapter level in the pane in the auto-title dialogue. Does that make sense? I can g...

Hi Matthias, it doesn' work. If I use tagged flows for my chapters and sub-chapters, I don't have the "prev#" button when designing the flows. This is disappointing, I hoped it would work. So, my subchapters will only be Sub 1, Sub 2 and so on, but not reflect, in which higher level chapte...

Sorry for dragging the Thread up, but I have exactly the same problem right now with the current version of Mellel (and unfortunately the handbook does not have a page 267 - I CORRECT THAT!! I HAVE JUST DISCOVERED THE UPDATED VERSION OF THE HANDBOOK, BUT STILL ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED). I have main t...

@rpcameron: I comletely understand your point, since I often have the same trouble when I use words which are specific to my field of study. I then "teach" my word processor and Typinator those words. But still, I guess I am on the other side of the line, because I'd really like such a fea...

Hi Vincent, thanks for replying. I am somewhat surprised if Mellel can't handle that. I thought that the features already available by the OS X platform provide enough to have auto correction. I use a free-/doation ware called Journler to organize my notes and this little (but feature rich) app has ...

Auto-Correct Spelling Mistakes

Hi guys, is there a way to have Mellel correct my spelling mistakes? I write in German and sometimes when I type fast I mix up letters ("ans" instead of "and" for example) or forget one ("whn" instead of "when"). Mellel highlights those words correctly, but ca...

I used the specific tab because in the post I mentioned the user described it with this specific tab. I thought too that placing the tab too far right would cause a line break. I played around a while and got it working now. When I have some time - which may take a while because I am writing my thes...
