Is Mellel scriptable?

Hi, I did a quick forum search but did not see what I was looking for. Is Mellel scriptable, either by AppleScript, Ruby, Python, or any other ways? In particular I'm interested in importing a Markdown file, and Mellel importing the sections in Markdown document into proper sections in a Mellel docu...

another clarification question

Hello. I, too, am excited about the CR feature. But after skimming through the manual I have a question. Is CR meant to do / able to do the following: Often when I read a book, at the end of a book is "Index of Subjects" and "Index of Names." Each index will indicate where each i...

Don / Janet, Thank you! Ironically, my problem was actually relying on the information from Keyboard Viewer. On my system, at least, SBL Hebrew in Hewbrew-QWERTY has problems displaying the dots correctly in Keyboard Viwer. In Mellel w types "sin" with no dots above, shift+w types shin, wi...

SBL Hebrew font

Hi.

I'm trying to type "sin" (as opposed to "shin") using SBL Hebrew in Mellel, with Hebrew-QWERT layout. One can type "shin" by pressing shift + w but I cannot seem to find what the right key is for "sin." I'd appreciate any help! Thanks.

Thanks for the xmllint hint. It solved the hang-up problem. Note to Redlers: although I seem to be alone with this problem (don't know why - my machine isn't that old - G5 iMac iSight 1.9 512MB 10.4.7) maybe the xmllint --format should be the default option? Having the xml file be one long line does...

XML crashes Smultron / TextWrangler?

For whatever reason, when I show package of a Mellel file and unzip the xml file and them attempt to open it in Smultron or TextWrangler, the app becomes virtually stuck and unresponsive, with the Force Quit window showing the app alternating between (Not Responding) and fine state. Does anybody els...
