Re: Mellel 4
I'd still like to see the "Secondary Font" option expanded to allow different fonts to be assigned for different Unicode ranges within the one character style. That would allow me to have specific Hebrew and Greek fonts embedded automatically within my paragraphs!

Re: "Edit Citation" window text size
Just mentioning this again — the text is so small it is difficult to read! Here's a sample:

Hebrew words reversed in Word export
Using Mellel 3.3.6 on Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite public beta 4) I have encountered a problem. When I export a document which is predominantly English but includes some Hebrew to Word format (or RTF) and open it in Word 2007 on Windows 7, strings of Hebrew words are reversed. I can't easily check wheth...

Yes — the public beta (10.10 14A299l). I haven't encountered many problems thus far.

Re: Mellel and Yosemite (Public Beta)
Just an update. I noticed Mellel wasn't running at all slow on another system when using Yosemite, so I re-installed it on the first system and now things appear to be back to normal!

Mellel and Yosemite (Public Beta)
I've been playing with Yosemite's public beta and notice a significant reduction in the responsiveness of Mellel when typing. Otherwise I've not yet found any other issues, but thought I'd share this with everyone.
Any other experiences?

Re: Mellel/Bookends Par. Style AutoCorrect
I concur — after a quick test it looks good. If I encounter any problems I'll be sure to let you know!
Thanks for the quick fix!

Re: Mellel/Bookends Par. Style AutoCorrect
I'm seeing this too. I primarily use Bookends citations in footnotes. If I create a new footnote and insert a citation from Bookends, everything is fine. If I then double-click the citation and add " @ xxx", validate it (by pressing the "?" button) and then close the citation win...

Re: What's next for Mellel 3.4?
I'd (still) like to see the "Secondary font" function expanded so that a different font could be assigned to each keyboard configuration (then I could easily use more than two languages in a document with ease)!

"Edit Citation" window text size
Is there a way to increase the size of the text in the "Edit Citation" window? My footnote font size is quite small but I have the main Mellel window set to view at above 100%. When I edit a citation, however, it renders the citation too small to make it easily readable. Is there something...

Re: PDF TOC links
Thank you. In that case:
1. Are there any tools that do allow this to be done (preferably that do not cost too much!), and
2. Please consider this a feature request!

PDF TOC links
Is there any way to get a Mellel document which has been exported as a PDF to include links to the various auto-title headings?
I notice that Pages and Nisus Writer Pro now include this, and with the growing use of electronic documents it would be very useful if I could do this with Mellel.

Re: 3.0 Wish List
I'd still like to see an expansion of the secondary font feature to allow different fonts to be assigned to different Unicode character ranges so that Mellel would automagically select an appropriate font for each language for documents with more than two language types.

Cosmetic Update
I think it's probably time for an overhaul of some aspects of Mellel's UI, the current one is definitely looking a little dated against the evolution of Mac OS X's UI. From a user's point of view there's not a great deal that can be done, but I've made a few updates to my copy's resources so that it...

Re: Mellel dock icon & Splash image
It does look nice, although I agree with macsailor about the background portion and I think perhaps the writing ought to be multi-lingual to reflect something more of the character of the application. I'd also like to see the UI updated somewhat. I've had a go, but there's only so much you can do ju...
