Re: Some newbie questions
Hello, 1) I really do like the automatic typing functions in Word. Why can't we have automatic capital in the beginning of a sentence ? Also, why is it so difficult to have an automatic superscript for things like 1st, 2nd, etc. And since I'm from France, "20e siècle" (20th century). Also...

Re: Crossreferences question
Petrus and Verma,
Thank you for your help. I thought auto-titles was the way to go, but as a total newbie, I was not sure of my solution...

Crossreferences question
I've been watching Mellel for sometime waiting for the implementation of CR (which I absolutely need), so when I found the new version announced in the MacZot sale I bought it. Mellel CR are very good and in many aspects far superior to other word processors CRs (virtual targets are a gem!). This is...

Re: Replace and swap elements
Sorry, I see I didn't express myself correctly. Of course, changing the order of a single set of words is no problem - a simple find & replace would do. What I want is something different: I want to change all occurrences of words meeting certain criteria. Let me illustrate with a simple example...

Thanks Roger,
My guess was exactly that - it was a mistake or a reference to an outdated version. But is better ask, just in case...

Creating an index
Hi!
In the document called Creating an Index, the instructions say to 'open the Auto-numbering palette' but I couldn´t locate that palette... can someone please tell where it is located?
Thanks,
André

Replace and swap elements
Hi!
I want to find a sequence of words and change its order; say I search for 'Mary' 'Wilson' and replace it with 'Wilson' 'Mary'.
Can this be done in Mellel? I'm sure it can, but I searched the guide and the forum and couldn't find an answer.
Thanks for any help,
André

Re: Cross references question
Verma, thank you for answering. According to Redel site, they still have a two years free update policy. That means that buiyng now, I'll get the next version as a free upgrade. So it is wise to buy Mellel today through MacZot (it's half the normal price :D ), given that version 2.5 will have cross...

Cross references question
Hi! I really like Mellel, but I didn't buy it before because of the lack of cross referencing -- I need absolutely this feature. Today I saw that MacZot is selling Mellel for the weekend at very nice price. But above all, the list of Mellel features includes cross references :D However, I couldn't c...
