Re: A yosemite problem
I use the very same combination and I don't encounter your issues. Might be something else.

Adding a line to headings
Dear all,
I try to achieve something close to what is shown here:

I'm pretty sure I have done something similar in the past, but seem to have forgotten.
Any advice?
Thanks

Re: Mellel and Lion
I beg to differ. As far as I can see, roaringApp is a wiki; so it should be fairly easy to enter uptodate information, if you are concerned about publicity.

Mellel and Lion
RoaringApps states that Mellel does not work under Lion (10.7). Is there any news on a furture release of Mellel which will solve this?
Thanks, strongbow

Re: Citation appearance and character styles
I couldn't replicate your problem. But note that Bookends gives you the option to 'default fonts overrides field settings' (see Bookends --Prferences -- Scan & Bib). Might also be worthwhile to update Bookends. Hope this helps, strongbow

Re: No "Edit style sets…" under Snow Leopard
This is just to say that I followed exactly the same update policy as rpcameron and have thus far encountered no issue at all. Mellel is very snappy and a pleasure to work with.

Re: changing formatting in "find and replace"
Just check page 170 ff. of the Mellel guide. You can find a detailed description of what to do there. I hope that helps.

Re: Licensing question
Frankly, I can't see what's really wrong or overly confusing about the current policy.

Re: Bookends hangs on re-scan
Using the latest versions of Mellel and BE (10.4.11), I can't detect any problems. Perhaps you should try, whether it works in a new user account.
Hope things work out, strongbow

Re: Bookends Footnote Font Changes
just to clarify, have you set Mellel as word processor in Bookends' preferences?

Re: Grammarian X
I guess you don't use check as you type. In that case, Grammarian as well as Spell Catcher will lose the formating and footnotes/endnotes of your text. A while ago, I was in touch with the developer of Spell Catcher, and he told me then that it is the way (although different) both apps handle RTF th...

Re: Spell Catcher X 10.3
I found Spell Catcher a quite useful app but stopped using it as it didn't fit my workflow. The major drawback for me is that I like to write without distraction by any spellchecking or proofreading software. I therefore usually check in retrospect. Now unfortunately Spell Catcher (as some competing...
