Mr Broadribb (et al.), It didn't work. Steps one and two of your instructions are fine, but step three doesn't do much for me at all. Basically, I took a bunch of chapters of a book I'm writing from Word, transformed them to Mellel, and cut and pasted them into one big document. So far so good. Then...

Best Base Font when using English, Greek, Hebrew
What does anyone recommend for a base font that will look good when using English as well as unicode Hebrew and Greek and permits italics or underlining? I wanted to use Cardo, but it has no italics or underlining, and I don't like the look of Lucida Grande. Is Times New Roman OK, or does that mess ...

I'm sorry, I just do not get it. Could you explain to me from square one how I could change all my footnotes to 'cardo' font without selecting each and every footnote individually?
