Is this what MLA requires, or is it how you like to do it? as far as I understood, MLA wants date and pg# for subsequent citations. you have to enter a % sign at the beginning of the object to tell Mellel/Bookends to leave out the authors name

I saw that in the guide as well, but while the % leaves out the author's name, it forces display of the date. Is there any way to suppress both?

The clearing of the undo buffer on save has been a serious hurdle to switching over to Mellel from any of the many (worse) alternatives. It is entirely contrary to user expectation, and quite unintuitive. It is what keeps me going back to NeoOffice.

This would be a fantastic addition to Mellel. I am really missing this feature in my transition away from MS Word/OpenOffice.org to Mellel.
