Re: Greek fonts

I know very well Gentium: it is free, and this is good.
Linguist's Software's fonts are better, better, better (if you want spend some money): Odyssaea is beautiful.

Mellel & inDesign OR iCalamus

I need export my Mellel files to a Layout application like InDesign or iCalamus, because layout need too much complex for Mellel.
Is it possible without loosing any footnote, text attribute and so on?
The export < MSWord does not work on my computer: I loose all footnotes.
Thank you very much

Better import-export with Word, InDesign and iCalamus

Dear Redlers, I am an enthusiastic user of your app from more or less five years. I wrote a lot of scientific articles using your amazing word processor. I produced a book camera-ready, too, that you posted in the section "written with Mellel". The book was written using the spectacular integration ...

Re: Wishlist 2008

1. Indexing capability
2. End of Chapter Endnotes
3. Better cooperation with DEVONThink

Would be enough, in my opinion.

You're right: Mellel is nicer, but NWP has features very important that lack in Mellel. In order of importance, in my opinion: 1) Better language support 2) Multiple Keyboard shortcuts 3) Better compatibility with other apps 4) Cross-refs 5) Lists continuing in long docs, and in general a better lis...

tables and line spacing

Hi folks! When I create a little table (two rows and one line) inside a bibliographic list, in order to resolve same oddities like this Bradford Welles, = C. Bradford Welles, R. O. Fink, J. F. Gilliam, Fink Gilliam 1959 The parchments and papyri, The Excavations at etc. the table appears always with...

Eyal Redler answered that the final sigma feature is possible to activate only using the Greek font as primary font. Using the Greek font as a secondary font with Greek script associated, the final sigma feaature is lost. Perhaps this problem will be solved with a future release of Mellel.

Dear Kristian,
Bookends is the best application for bibliography management. Dot. I counsel you warmly to migrate to Bookends as soon as possible. The couple Bookends + Mellel is the only serious reason to go on standing Mac computers and not to migrate to Linux, with less expensive computers.

Greek Fonts by Linguist's Software

I bought fonts for polytonic Greek by Linguist's Software. In LS documentation supplied with fonts is written that using software OpenType compliant such as Mellel (explicitely cited), the final 'sigma' is automatically entered instead of a normal sigma, when it is followed by a space or a punctuati...

I do not understand very well the matter about the TOC. Is there any way to include automatically TOC entries into the headers.
Thank you
