Unfortunately, that won't be possible. Don Broadribb passed back in 2012. Mellel's website may have a link to it, though.jsnow wrote:Can i please have your information so you can allow me to see your indexing information on dropbox! I need it ASAP Thanks

Re: New computer- transfer style sets?
Or you could use the 'Go' command in the Finder: Cmd+Shift+G, then type in the name of the directory you want (~/Library). Or if you have a Terminal window open, just type `open ~/Library` or whichever folder you want the Finder to open.

Re: Problem Finding Hebrew Unicode
So, I just ran a test that seemed to work pretty well for me. Here is the find expression I used: {CharRange: U+0590–U+05FF, once or more, greedy}{Group: {Whitespace}+{CharRange: U+0590–U+05FF, once or more, greedy}, zero or more, greedy} So, you have your character range set to grab Hebrew words. T...

Re: Auto-Title Renumbering
Then why can't you do something like this: 1 Table of Contents 1 Acknowledgments 1 List of Abbreviations 2 I. Introduction x 3 1. Scripture, Hermeneutics and Intertextuality x 3 2. Thesis Outline xii 2 II. The Psalm Citation (3:7-11) 1 3 1. The Psalm Citation (3:7-11) 1 3 2. Intertextuality 1 3 3. H...

Re: Problem Finding Hebrew Unicode
Does your preferred Greek font have Latin support? If so, the answer to your first question is to set the primary font to your Greek face and use that for both Greek and Latin, and use your secondary font for the Hebrew. As for the second, how are you indicating the character range? I'm not sure tha...

Re: Auto-Title Renumbering
Can you provide an outline or excerpt from your TOC so that we may see exactly what type of numbering and hierarchy you wish to achieve? Without details it's difficult to give any concrete help beyond guesswork.

Re: Footnote position
Just beware with this solution for parallel columns of translation. You will need a separate cell for each paragraph, and Mellel's table cells do not flow to the following page, so you must manually manage your pagination. This feature, too, had been asked for since nearly Mellel's inception.

Re: Writing direction
Mellel's RTF support should be up to the task for interchange with Word on PC. To make the process easier, have those using Word save their document as RTF, since Mellel's support for Word is pretty bad.

Re: Writing direction
Mellel uses a different text engine than Mail and most every other app. The system's text engine (as found in Mail and others) notes which language and text direction a character uses and adjusts/inserts the proper LTR/RTL control characters; Mellel does not do this. The advantage that Mellel has wi...

Not that I am aware of. However, what is the purpose of selecting the footnotes only?

Re: Zotero extension
Although there's no direct integration, there are other options. Mellel's bibliography functions only integrate with Bookends and Sente, and given how long users have asked for support for additional software options and heard nothing, I don't see any additional software being supported anytime soon...

Re: TOC question: How to make mine "self-adjusting"?
As for 1, this is not possible. The TOC is not 'live', and therefore must be updated manually. For 2, paragraph styles have an associated character style that you set as the 'default' for that paragraph. Auto-Titles are then best styled with a paragraph style, which then applies that paragraph style...

Re: a combination of indent and outdent?
What about a paragraph setting with an indent of 0.25" (or similar), with a left margin of 0.5"? You can also make the rest of the first line align with the margin of the body by setting a left tab to the same position as the left margin.
