Re: 4.2 and Bookends
Indeed, things seems to run smoothly with 4.2.2 : ) (haven't done extensive tests, but found no issues at all)

Re: Integration with Antidote
You would have more success by contacting the Redlers directly (https://www.mellel.com/support/). They don't come very often on the forum. They are quick to answer, though. (corrected with Antidote 10 ; ) )

Re: How to use Story Points in non-fictional documents?
I entered my "inserts" as points. "Inserts": a special section in a section to further describe a subject; like a very long parenthesis : ) So, it was appropriate to monitor those "subsections" in a separate panel. There is no more to say for my part. It was a limited, ...

Re: How to use Story Points in non-fictional documents?
I'm "he" : ) For my purpose, it was an essay (250 pages) and I used Story points to remember all the "inserts". On the way my mind works, I preferred to keep them apart from the main outline. I suppose I could have used tags for my purpose, but I already used them as reference fo...

Re: Just for fun, what is your longest Mellel document...
40 000 words with index, bibliography and a lot of crossed references. No problem at all. Very responsive.

Re: how to remove auto-title attribute?
The only way I see is to use File/Replace Style. Could be tricky though as it will replace all texts with the auto-title attribute.

Re: Manuscript for publication: doc, PDF and InDesign?
I sent paper copies : ) ...They really asked for it!
Should I be accepted, I hope that there will be a workaround for the editor to import from a pdf format to Adobe inDesign (there should be!). I have indeed the same issues than you with the "export to .doc".

Re: Table Styles?
From the december Newsletter: Quo Vadis Mellel 4.2? Mellel 4.2 is getting closer... with some really great stuff. For those of you who did not follow closely, the big deal with Mellel 4.2 will be the all new Tables feature — which will jump several light years ahead. The revised tables will support,...

Re: Feature request: Antidote integration
A pity that I have to consider sending my book in Word to use Antidote. And as said, this software is very good in English too and able to recognize English parts in a French text. For me, that’s the number 1 feature lacking in Mellel.

Re: Finalizing a document - how to deal with citations?
Not sure it helps, but you can individually exclude some citations from the final document. Just double-click on the citation and select "exclude". The citation will be displayed in the bibliography, but not in the final document. This way, you can place the citation at the end of the para...
