I really like the Firefox find bar and use it quite often becasue it works so well. I’ve already suggested a Firefox like implementation over a year ago. Especially the highlight all option is a very helpful one. But a find-sidebar would be very awful in Mellel imho. I would prefer a Spotlight- or ...

I consider line-wrapping to the window more a pseudo-feature, as I have serious doubts if anyone will be seriously interested in lines wrapping at anything longer than 100 characters. 15 words or more in a one line is borderline unreadable (feel free to enlighten me if I'm wrong here). In the dialogs to edit citations it is not possible to insert non-breaking spaces etc. which would be very handy.

When you have set a bibliography format in Bookends using super- or subscripted text you have the choice to make your bibliography preserving the super-/subscripts and not using Mellel's styles or to use the styles but loose super-/subscripts. I am having a similar problem: suddenly I cannot save any changes. Using 2.1.1, when I make changes in a document and try to save it, a copy of the file is created with a tilde (~) appended to the name. I assume that is meant to be a temporary file.
