Re: Find all by formatting
I am not sure I understood you correctly, but just to be on the safe side: do you apply things like italics, bold via character style variations? (Instead of via ad-hoc formatting as one does in Word, for example.) Character style variations “survive” paragraph style changes. Or at least they should…

Re: increase font size in outline pane?
That’s very strange indeed. I think we used to be able to change this in the Auto-Title flow pane (Insert > Auto-Title > Edit title flows…) in the Outline tab. But it seems all formatting options are “grayed-out” i.e. not accessible. I think this used to work in earlier versions. As of now, the whol...

Re: Keep Auto-Titles with following paragraph
You will have to use the paragraph style palette while you have the "Edit Title Flows" dialogue open. If you look at it, you will see that the assigned style will have a checkmark at its side.

Re: Paragraph style for lists?
I often have to create 2 paragraph styles for lists: One for the list; and one for the last item of the list. This allows me to have separate "after paragraph" spacing within the list, and a different "after paragraph" spacing for the last element that is consistent with the res...

Re: Option to Make Citing Pagination Easier
If I remember correctly you can use different keyboard combos to enter the citation (at least from Bookends) – one of these allows you to enter the page numbers right away. (Sorry, don't have access to the Bookends user guide or Mellel right now…)

Re: Spell Check Freeze / Crash
Two things you should be able to try somewhat quickly: * Open the document in another user account and try the spell check. * Try to do a spell check while booted into safe mode (by rebooting and keeping the shift key pressed during reboot). Is this document of a manageable size? You could try to up...

1: 1822k ; 0:19 min
2 first try: 119k; 4:48 min
2 second try: 2522k; 0:14 min
(I then got similarly high speeds for further tests)
Same Norwegian symmetric 25 Mbps fiber optic connection as last time.

Ah, ok, now I see the problem. I also tried a few different approaches, but even the find selection feature doesn’t help – seems this is something that needs to be enabled/fixed by the Redlers…

Can’t you change the footnote style to achieve this? (To do this go to the menu bar: Insert > Note > Edit note attributes…)

Re: Indent pragraphs
In that dialog you just change the tab positions, not the indent. Check it out here: http://userpage.fu-berlin.de/frers/indent.png PS: Jon, would it be possible for you to re-activate the upload of image attachments to the forum (jpg, png and gif formats)? That would make things much easier for us. :D
