Re: 3.0 Wish List
I don't know how useful it is to have such a list for every new release, but here we go: Language as a an attribute of character or paragraph styles. Currently this is the thing I'm annoyed about most. I want to be able to to switch the spell checking language in the text. "Page brake before&qu...

Re: Syncing Mellel setup between Macs
I haven't found any threads on syncing between two computers. Has anyone synced there Mellel prefs using something like SugarSync? I use Dropbox. I have symlink which links the Mellel folder in Application Support with a folder in my Dropbox. This way, both machines access the same prefs. Problems ...

Re: Probable bugs with track changes
After having worked quite intensively on a document together with another writer using track changes I'm sad to say that at the moment Mellel's implementation of this feature is clearly not good enough. I'd actually say that it's worse than in Word (I never thought I'd say that about any of Mellel's...

Re: Probable bugs with track changes
I must say that the track changes feature doesn't seem to be on the quality level I'm used to with Mellel. Compared to the rest of the app, it seems a bit buggy. I regularly get display errors – for example, stuff is displayed in the final mode which I already deleted. Changing "Show Changes&qu...

Re: The state of the Mellel (a road map of sorts)
- automatically switching language speller when switching keyboard layout ; a very useful feature for multilingual texts, e.g. if I use Romanian keylayout (including my custom one), it is logical to assume that the speller is also for Romanian; if I switch the language to Czech, speller should swit...

Re: 2.8 is great, but . . . . 2.9 wish list
What I'm looking forward to most is the ability the define the language of a paragraph so that spell checking is not a global option anymore. Besides that I'd like to see improved bibliographic options: Zotero support and the ability to have multiple bibliographies in one document.

Re: Wishlist for version 2.7
After having written for the first time a paper with plenty of illustrations, I must say that I consider "Floating images and tables" to be one of the most important areas ATM. Here, Mellel is truly lacking. A LaTeX-like approach (as has already been discussed) which allows top/bottom of t...

Re: Mellel has problems with Dropbox?
Here's a thread from the Scrivener Forum that deals with this particular problem. I'm still not sure if I should put my stuff back on Dropbox, or not. :? Can't say anything about Srivener files, but I never had problems with Dropbox before, and the Mellel problems have definitel been resolved with ...

Re: Mellel has problems with Dropbox?
Actually, I already solved the problem. One should really do better research. It was a problem of Dropbox which got resolved in the meantime. Everyone experiencing this should upgrade to the latest beta.

Mellel has problems with Dropbox?
Hi, I'm encountering strange problems with Mellel files and Dropbox. Dropbox ( https://www.getdropbox.com/ ) is a solution for a webdrive which integrates nicely into the Finder and which, so far, has been very reliable. It automatically syncs files as soon as they are changed. The strange thing is ...

Re: Wishlist for version 2.6
Even if it seems--after my experience in another thread--that you don't like that I show you solutions for your problems it might be helpful for other French users to know: -> Insert -> Special characters -> Space -> No-break space (and more) or just Alt+Shift-Space I've already found the shortcut ...
