Yes, we update the iPad version in sync with Mac version. We only skip iPad updates for minor versions (for example 5.0.9) if no iOS related changes were made.
Mellel 5.1 was just released on all three platforms: Our site, the Mac App Store and the iOS App Store.

Yes, but this is not new. Mellel is already running native on Apple Silicon since version 5.0.6 released in March 2021
