I agree with Dylan in both respects. Track changes as such is not a very important addendum to Mellel, but track changes without perfect integration with Word is completely useless.

Sometimes, reading certain comments, one gets the impression that a word processor without a track changes feature doesn't even deserve to be called a word processor. Track changes is considered an essential feature of a word processor by many. But it is not. It is fashionable, but not essential. Personally, I always insert my remarks between double brackets. Works perfectly. Never had any complaint.

Like criens, I second kga1978's requests, in particular the first two. And I must confess that I find the implementation of floating images and wrapping text in 2.7 a bit disappointing. It's not bad, but it's mainstream and incomplete. From Mellel, I was expecting something more 'special'. I hope 2....

Update: just found this thread, from which can be deduced that what I want (captions moving with images, captions glued to images) is still not possible in 2.7. That's a pity, for, as one of the contributors to the above mentioned thread pointed out, "what is an image without some words?"....

When I try to remove a colored text marker, often a very small piece of it remains in the document, and refuses to go away no matter what I try. Does anybody have any idea how this little problem can be solved? Is this a small bug, or am I missing something?
