list of specific words?
Is it possible in a given manuscript for Mellel to find and list the number of specific words? For example, if I have a document and I want to find out how many times the word "dog" is mentioned in, is there a way to do that?

Re: .rtf and footnotes
I had to send it off for publication, so am not sure what app was used to open it. I am curious, though, if this is a typical problem with Mellel. Having said that, I also have to say that Mellel, combined with Bookends, is the best writing experience I've had since I began using a computer (20+ yea...

.rtf and footnotes
I used Bookends for footnotes. When I converted my mellel document to .rtf, the footnotes did not export. Can someone tell me why, and how to make sure they will convert? Thank you.

Re: Formatting Q- Indent Second line
Why wouldn't you just Opt + Cmd +0 on the second line, then back to Opt + Cmd 1 when it returns to the third of each paragraph?

Re: Wishlist 2008
I note the latest Macworld, in it short blurb about other word processors, mentions Mariner Write and Nisus Pro, but doesn't mention Mellel. Maybe they know what the rest of us are reluctant to admit - Mellel's development is all but dead.

Re: Word doc compat.
It sounds like this document was not generated by you. The best method would be to have the author of the document either "unformat" the footnotes, then send to you to format with Endnote, or to save the doc in .rtf and send to you to open. I used to use Endnote, and Word, and this is a ty...

Re: dynamic date change
I did that, but the date stays the same; it does not change according to the day/date it's opened. Is it not working right?

Re: Greek character style
Thank you. I was asking in light of another post: "by shades on Thu Jan 17, 2008 1:36 am Howdy. I began the switch to Mellel about four years ago, after 15 years with Word, and 5 years with Nisus Classic. Styles were the most difficult in mastering. But I must say that once you get the hang of ...
