Any way to delete spam posts yet?
The spam is finally starting to irritate me. Today the poster: Poeragiottoni, is trashing our forum with a load of crap.
Is there anyone to whom we can report spam posts so they can be quickly removed?

Mellel & SC are two of my favorite apps so I'd like to see them work well together, too.
Thanks for the link to the SC forums.

Re: spell checking
I wonder if anyone can recommend a spell checker that works with Mellel and allows the creation of a list of words that should be excluded from the check? Thanks and best, Gerben I've used Spell Catcher for years, love it It will "learn" words you don't want flagged as incorrect in the fu...

Re: A simple reason why grammar-check is needed
You ever write a 100+ document in Mellel, exported it to rtf, ran it through Word's grammar-checker, and found out that in various sleepless nights you managed to to write double-words like like this this one? I did, about 10 times. I agree with petrus, I don't think a grammar checker would be a pr...

Re: Two (no doubt) basic questions about shrinkage :)
Hello 2. In Word (in Normal view) there's no space (or very little) between the edge of the "paper"/ window and the margin of the text. As is shown below this is not the case in how my Mellel is set up. Is it possible to customize Mellel in such a way as to shrink that space so that you s...

Re: What does NWP 1.1 preview mean for Mellel?
It's out and has comments, mail merge and even better scriptability. They seem to deliver fast lately. I considered buying a license for Nisus a long time ago. But back then, Nisus development seemed slow as molasses. I wasn't willing to wait forever for the features I wanted, so I forgot about Nis...

Re: retreving lost writings
Check your settings in Mellel's Preferences. To get to the Auto-save options, click on the Open & Save icon in the prefs window. I found the following on p. 124 of the Mellel manual: Automatic backup The automatic backup option in Mellel will save a copy of any active document periodically into ...

Re: Size of Redlex
Or is the concern that expansion will bring a reduction in quality to the product--too many cooks spoiling the broth, so to speak? or the fee for use too small ($35 is quite a bargain, I must say)? The license fee is small only until you understand that it is time limited. You will lhave to keep pa...

Well yes. And, of course, there's that little free application Ori said would be available "shortly". Wonder what it was, and if it's ever going to appear...

It is very difficult to manage a list of sometimes hundreds, and may be more, fonts... raymond, there are already loads of simple, readily available solutions to your font selection problem. I've included some of them below: FontDoc - freeware "FontDoc, a very simple program which shows you al...

I'd like to be able to open a second view of the same document in its own window. These could be tiled vertically or horizontally.
While writing in the primary window, we could refer to text at a (any) different location, in the second window.
