Re: iOS Mellel and Dropbox?
This is really a major problem for people who did not buy Mellel through the apple store. The cloud saving does not work with the desktop app, and there is no integration with Dropbox, so you have to use clunky workarounds to work with your docs and sync them. This should be improved or makes thing...

Re: iOS Mellel and Dropbox?
As far as I can tell, Mellel for iOS should work with Dropbox. I do not have an iPad so I can not try to see if this is the case or not. According to the information at the iTunes website , you should be able to both save and open your documents to and from Dropbox: iCloud: Turn on iCloud to make yo...

Re: Old license - new MacBookPro
Try to download and install the latest beta and see if that's working better.
Or try this link to download the Mellel 3.3.7 and then update to the latest version 3.3.8 from within the application itself.

Re: Mellel and OmniOutliner, best practice?
In the latest beta of Mellel, Redlers has fixed the bad XML code mentioned in my previous reply. That's really good news!

Re: Mellel and OmniOutliner, best practice?
Sorry for a late reply, but in my experience, Mellel and OmniOutliner 3 is working very well, but OO4 does not open OPML files exported from Mellel if you check the Export Content as Notes option. The support at Omnigroup told me the following reason for this behaviour: »It's a bad XML code: &#x...

Re: Mellel developers... you out there?
It could be that rather than the Commodore 64 or the ZX-81, they are planning to do what they pre-announced in the May Newsletter: >In the near future, we believe you'll be able to fix and change Mellel documents on your iPad, or send a Mellel document - as-is - for review and changes by someone wh...

Re: Endnotes and Page Ranges
I'm afraid that at the moment this is not possible. Will this be possible any time soon, and if Yes, how soon is soon? Personally, I've found it best not to rely upon features that are promised, but not implemented. Indexing has been promised for years , but it is still not included. If per-section...
