Paragraph misbehavior

Hi I have to confess that the conventions of styles and paragraphs has consistently defeated me on Mellel and that keeps me from using it as often as I'd like. For instance, I have a paragraph setting that seems quite conventional: .25 first indent, 1.5 lines, .5 space after paragraph etc.. Yet, arb...

Feature request: Search by script

I've checked the guide and it appears that I can't do this, which I often need to do:

Find all Roman characters 25 point and change to 12 point

Or

Change all Arabic characters al-Bayan to Geeza pro.

Sorting/alphabetizing

I have searched the guide and there appears to be no way sort/alphabetize a selected list of words. It would be nice to have this feature, with options, e.g., , sort selected order: (choose) English, Turkish, French, Arabic (choose order--standard Arabic (h, w, y) or Persian (w, h, y)). Thanks Kevin

Quite right

Thanks for pointing this out. I had been looking for "columns" not "styles." This is the result of a sort of inflexiblity of mind as I transition from Word to Mellel.

BUT, this leads to another feature request. See post.
Thanks for the help, tho.

Feature Request: Newspaper columns

Some time ago, if I recall correctly, this was promised for Mellel. What I need (and others do as well) is a simple way to do columns on the page so that A) the text flows from column a to b (or b to a, if Arabic or Hebrew) on the page, and goes from the end of b on page 1, to the top of a on page 2...
