Re: still no multi-page cells or separate flow columns?
It would certainly be a very nice feature for editing texts with a parallel translation and for that one would need to anchor the two columns to each other, so that ends of pages are correlated. The need must be quite frequent among 'people like us'.

Re: Moving Documents with Style Sets?
Unless I misunderstand your problem, you do not have one. Mellel documents always have their style-sets with them, and if the other user (or you on another computer) wants to, he can just save them and they will like his own.

Re: Find/Replace citation numbers
I know your problem well from editing a journal, where a certain number of the contributors do not know where to put the footnote references correctly. I have searched high and low, but always end up correcting it by hand. In English and Danish, and surely in a fair number of other languages, footno...

Re: Indent pragraphs
I suppose that all your 60 pages are written in the same paragraph-style. Just change that style to give indentation at the beginning of each paragraph.

Re: Find all by formatting
Hear, hear, Declan! Changing character styles is easy and not what it is about. Just being able to see which of the '37' (or so) 'paragraph style+1' you are looking at just now would be great. Never mind about Scrivener, whatever it is, Word is what we are up against, and Word-users are apparently u...

Re: Find all by formatting
This would be very nice and save a lot of trouble. I often import files that started life in docx, but of course I have to ask the authors to send them to me in rtf, because Mellel still cannot import docx. When preparing these texts for publication in Mellel I normally have to do as Declan describe...

Re: spell checking not working
Thank you, Eyal, it works now. I am sure you think that you have already explained it several times, but never so clearly that I could also understand. It really is quite complicated and I will see how it works when writing 3-4 modern languages and Latin on my Danish keyboard + ancient Greek on a di...

Re: spell checking not working
I tried this when you first wrote about it, but it does not work for me. I can make the 'Spelling and Grammar' window appear, but nothing else happens, regardless which option I take in the Edit>Spelling menu. It is as if there are no dictionaries attached.

Re: spell checking not working
I have launched this subject several times, but there has been no response from the Redlers and little general interest. Please, Spellcheck, come back.

Re: Horizontal lines on screen
Well, the horizontal lines are still with us in 3.0.2.(6). I pasted a chunk of about one page into a document, and there they were.

Thank you! Finally someone exactly in my position: 3.0.1 b2 and Lion who has also tried writing directly. How does one get the Redlers to answer?

Re: Spell Catcher and Mellel
I am just trying to revive this thread. I have launched the issue in the parallel Nitty-Gritty forum and written directly to support, but no reaction. Here, at least, I feel that there are others who suffer from this lack of spell-checking. Could we have it back, please? Or just a reaction that the ...

Re: Horizontal lines on screen
I am still on Lion, 10.7.4 but have the same phenomenon. It must be related to the updating of the screen and the lines disappear at once when you scroll, so not very worrying, but why?
