It would certainly be a very nice feature for editing texts with a parallel translation and for that one would need to anchor the two columns to each other, so that ends of pages are correlated. The need must be quite frequent among 'people like us'.

Unless I misunderstand your problem, you do not have one. Mellel documents always have their style-sets with them, and if the other user (or you on another computer) wants to, he can just save them and they will like his own.

I know your problem well from editing a journal, where a certain number of the contributors do not know where to put the footnote references correctly. I tried this when you first wrote about it, but it does not work for me. I can make the 'Spelling and Grammar' window appear, but nothing else happens, regardless which option I take in the Edit>Spelling menu. It is as if there are no dictionaries attached.

I am still on Lion, 10.7.4 but have the same phenomenon. It must be related to the updating of the screen and the lines disappear at once when you scroll, so not very worrying, but why?
