Re: Margin/indent numbers slightly off

Eyal Redler wrote: Mon Oct 22, 2018 3:53 pm The issue here is that you cannot move the margin/indent beyond the first tab stop.
I want the margin/indent distance the exact same as the first tab stop. I understand. But I can't ever get those set to the same exact point (in the distance box).

Margin/indent numbers slightly off

I have one paragraph style, in which the margin is supposed to be 36 pt and the indent is 36 pt. But they never match. See attachment. The end if 36 pt. But start and indent numbers are 35.99. No matter what I have tried, they never change as I intend. The reason this is critical is that when I want...

Re: Intermin solutions for working with .mellel docs in ProWritingAid

As seminary professor, the plagiarism feature in ProWriting would be most welcome. But I would not want to lose any of Mellel's features in the process.

Re: A call for tables

Excellent discussion. For my purposes, draw table feature would be very desirable. I use tables frequently, but seem laborious to recreate or even copy/paste. Other important features: 1. Table (and figure) captions 2. Table Styles 3. Ability to export numerical data from tables into simple graphs a...

Re: Mellel 4.1 is ready for beta testing...

Unfortunately this beta is reverting to previous problems. I have also filed a couple reports on new problems. 1. “Recent documents” does not, in fact, show recent documents. I have worked on a file for 3 weeks (saving each time), but it never shows up in the Recent Documents (neither on File > Open...

Re: Problem with Italic

I should add that if I have a new line before I start typing, that next line also begins with italic.

Problem with Italic

Just notice last week with 4.03 and also on 4.1. I have a document, a kind of calendar commentary. I have a date in one line with Heading C. It automatically switches to BodyText when I hit Return. That works fine. The problem comes when I begin a comment. The first word is often italicized (hitting...

Thanks, Eyal. I thought maybe that was the case. But since my accident I have a little trouble sorting through thinking processes, and I lose track of items like this.
