Regarding multiple line numbering flows. What are the possible uses for that?
Does putting line numbers in flows means that if we have discontinuous sections using the same flow then we continue the line numbering from where the last section left off?

Re: Feature Request: line numbers
Thanks for the detailed list. I think it covers most possible options, obviously we will need to pick and choose. Any thought regarding that process would be welcome. Regarding more feature requests, if you have a new one, by all means, send us an email or start a thread in this section (nitty and g...

Re: Feature Request: line numbers
We're currently thinking about the scope of this feature. I would love to hear people's opinions about it. What do you need in line numbering? what do you like/hate about the implementation in other word processors? What kind of options would you like to see?

I like the print setting option. We'll consider this for inclusion in an upcoming version

Re: Printing & track changes margin line
The idea here is that you still want to see some indication to the modifications you've made. We don't hide the bubbles if the pane is visible, for example.
Maybe we should hide the revision marks in final mode. I would also love to hear what other people think regarding this issue.

You're not missing anything. The revision marks or bubbles are always visible when you're in TC, regardless of the view mode (Final, Show changes etc.)

Re: RtL font not joining in Outline window under 10.6
I don't recall seeing the first problem (no joining) you mentioning so I cannot comment on it. Installing/Updating Mellel should not have an effect on anything beside Mellel, there was no change in the rendering of the outline. The outline is drawn (and always have been) using the system font which ...

Re: Track Changes and MS Word
Just to set the record straight. 1. Mellel has no "comments" feature at the moment so no comments are imported from rtf 2. Importing of track changes is supported with RTF only. Track changes in DOC are not supported. 3. Export to rtf and doc is the same thing and it exports track changes ...

Re: RtL font not joining in Outline window under 10.6
This issue is related to a faulty Geeza Pro font that Apple supplies with the system.
We advise to remove the font. You can also replace the font with the version supplied with 10.5

Re: Free updates for life?
I would like to note the following: 1. Mellel is not (yet) selling on the App Store 2. Currently, there is no official way to convert an app store license to a "normal" one or vice versa, Apple may provide something in the future (but I have nothing to base this prediction on beside the fa...

Re: The track changes doesn't work
I got the email from raymond. It seems that it is indeed a serious problem and may affect others. I haven't yet been able to determine why but it seems that for some documents, turning off track changes while in "Final" display mode will cause the sheet asking you to reject or accept all c...

It definitively sounds like bug. Can you reproduce this? If so, send us the file or reproduction sequence.

Re: The state of the Mellel (a road map of sorts)
Thanks for the comments and suggestions. We are aware that Mellel suffers a bit from going boldly forward with new features and neglecting to re-iterate and go back to fix/complete older features. This is a balancing act and I admit we could use a better balance. Regarding reported bugs that are not...
