Re: Keeping track with additional Auto-Title Information:
This is a nice idea and makes Mellel a more powerful writing tool. Included in the information dialogue could be word count and word count target. I like this, but think there are more pressing issues at the moment in Mellel, including: indexing, exporting TOC hyperlinked PDFs, docx export, organisi...

Re: New implementation of Find
I agree with the difficulty with the ⌘F mechanism for find... after a few weeks I still default to ⌘F, which closes the Find command bar if it is open, and then I type my find phrase into the document somewhere. I thought my brain would adjust but not yet. Better would be a different command to clos...

Re: New Forum platform
I don't know about what platform to use, but suggest some better organisation. The current division of "all things Mellel" and "Feature requests, and in-depth discussions of features and the way Mellel works" has obvious overlap and both are quite large. Sifting through the forum...

Re: Bibliography styles and fonts
RESOLVED (sort of) : Each Bibliography Format can have its bibliography style set, including font under the RTF tab under the bibliography format editor in Sente. It seems that this over rides any settings in Mellel... this might be something to look into as I would prefer to set the formatting of t...

Bibliography styles and fonts
I think I am missing something simple. I am using Mellel with Sente. I have set the bibliography character and paragraph style in Mellel, but the font is overwritten somehow on refresh.... The style is "bibliography", which is always re-set to "bibliography+".
Thanks for any tips.

Thanks for looking into the file and guiding me to fix it up. What a difference an extra ";" can make.

Scanning broken (Sente)
Hi... I am glad to see that Livebibliography support for Mellel is added to the new version of Sente... on update, it works great on a smaller document that I am working on, but scanning has ceased to work altogether on a larger document (544 citations). By clicking the scan button, the "Scanni...

Re: Landscape rotation
Yes, it seems that there is no way to do this in Mellel. Of course, the simplest way is probably to print to PDF and then rotate individual pages the way a user wants them. With so much customisation in the formatting of pages, I am a bit surprised this is not in there. If printing same odd and even...

Landscape rotation
Mellel is full of some great customisation and formatting options. I guess it must be somewhere, but I can't find how to set the page rotation for landscape page styles. I have different left-right facing page margins, which works fine in portrait. The option is also available for landscape, which I...

Re: Writing a PhD in Mellel
This is a fair assessment. I agree with the rock-solidness of Mellel. The formatting customisation is also unparalleled. I am part way through a document that already has 305 autotitles... I have to say that it is ridiculous to try to make a cross reference with the flat list of autotitles. I think ...

Re: Background image page bleed
hi there... thanks for the thoughts... as it is, the only way I can find to overcome is this issue is to monkey around with the image in an image editor first to either crop it to the right dimensions to fit A4 or to scale it to close enough so I can "tile" it in Mellel so Mellel doesn't z...

Organising cross references
I imagine that I am missing something here and hope someone can help. I am developing a long document with hundreds of auto-titles. Its one of the reasons that I like Mellel... great control over auto-numbering and all that. As I start writing, I find the cross-referencing of auto-titles burdensome ...
