It should take you under 1 second in Mellel, as the new Quick Index feature has a Mark All button.

Mellel's table of contents is not a dynamic object, so it is not linkable (if by linkable you mean that you can click on a chapter to navigate to it). That is because the Outline is a much more useful and convenient tool for navigating the document inside Mellel. However, when you export your docume...
