You are right about Menu Master not playing well with Mellel. I have had problems too and have added Mellel to the Exclude List in the Menu Master preference pane (Mellel being the only application that has required this drastic action).

As a workaround you could try AquaRuler:

Strange. On trying again a couple of hours later, copy/paste seems to be working again.

After upgrading to Mellel 2.2.5 I am no longer able to copy & paste from Mellel to other applications. The clipboard displays the following message:

ERMellelAttributedStringXML <190be00>

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have the same problem with the "Paste simple text" shortcut even though there is no conflict with any Services. Numerous other Mellel shortcuts don't work for me either, and in such cases I use iKey. As has been mentioned often before on this forum, the ability to set one's own keyboard ...

Thanks for the suggestion. However, double-clicking the .zip archive in FileMaker only unzips it and does not open the file itself. I thought I might be able to use the file path instead because FileMaker recognizes URLs, but it seems to recognize only Internet URLs.

FileMaker databases allow one to access individual files via a "container." Unfortunately, because Mellel files are now bundles, they are not recognized by FileMaker. I know I could create PDF or RTF files of my Mellel documents and use these, but I don't really want to have to do this eve...
