I have a Mellel document with footnotes referenced by a, b, ..., and with endnotes referenced by 1, 2, .... If I export to RTF and open in Word, the formatting isn't right:
o The footnotes in Word are numbered by i, ii, ...
o The format of the endnotes looks like
3. Text of the footnote
instead of what in Mellel is specified as a #.Tab, with an
appearance such as
3. Text of the footnote
Is it likely that I am doing something wrong, that RTF is limited, that Mellel doesn't handle this level of detail properly in RTF, or what? And is there a workaround?
This may have been answered previously, but I didn't find it in the manual or forum.
Thanks.
