tables and line spacing

Hi folks!
When I create a little table (two rows and one line) inside a bibliographic list, in order to resolve same oddities like this
Bradford Welles, = C. Bradford Welles, R. O. Fink, J. F. Gilliam,
Fink Gilliam 1959 The parchments and papyri, The Excavations at etc.

the table appears always with a following line spacing major than the correct one.
It is possible to reduce the line spacing immediately following the table, and obtain a normal paragraph spacing with a table embedded?
