Hi to all,
CAT software, or memory translations, are software used to avoid re-translating recurring text in subsequent documents. For example, if you write a manual for version 1.0 software, you probably don't need to trasnalte more than 20% of the total text for version 1.5. The CAT software compares the two documents, and let you work only on the changed text.
On the Mac, I only know Wordfast, that only worked on Ms Office (before Ms removed the VBA language). It doesn't work with NeoOffice or Mellel. So, as far as I know, there is currently no CAT software for the Mac.
If someone knows an alternative solution, I'd be very happy to know.

There are also AppleTrans (free) and Heartsome (commercial), not that I have tried using them.
