- Full import/export of "OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications" (e.g. used in OpenOffice as .odt) as an ISO certified standard for document exchange,
- cross references and textflow around images of course,
- and a splitscreen-feature of course...
I too would find a split screen feature (like in Word) to be very helpful in juxtaposing foreign language material three pages up, with a lower paragraph where I need to translate all or parts of it.
This would be useful to create "chapter-like units" that are not numbered by "current #" the way chapters actually are ordered. Basically what I'm requesting is a way to have Prefaces, Introductions, Acknowledgments, or Epilogues show up in structural tabs without being subject to the same automatic chapter numbering that chapters are currently. For now, other chapter-like units are being dealt with using the tag flows. Seems un-Mellel like to me.
