Hi all, I apologize if this has been answered but I've been unable to track down the solution in previous posts.
I have a paper whose body text is double spaced. Block quotation, interspersed throughout, are single spaced. The result is that there's only a single space between the blockquote and the text that precedes it, but there's a double space between the blockquote and the text that follows it. It looks like this:
I know if I go into my blockquote paragraph style I can adjust the spacing above the paragraph in order to remedy this issue. But—as far as I can tell—the space above can only be input in inches/centimeters. Is there any way for me to find a different fix so that an extra line is inserted before all my blockquotes, or to set the distance so that it is always equal to one line?
Any help would be wonderful.

Re: Newbie question about paragraph spacing
When you input the size for the space above, try "12pts" and it will automatically convert it into inches.

That seems to have done the trick. Thanks for the help.
