Chapter title in header?
MS Word can insert the text of a given text style into the header, thus allowing the user to make headers that reflect the name of the current chapter as it changes throughout the book. Can Mellel do this, or am I stuck making a new section every time I need the header to change?

Yes, that is possible. The feature is called "Mentions" in Mellel; it is part of the auto-title set-up. You will find more on it in the Guide at p. 227 et seq.
