Importing Word Doc loses some content

I tried importing a Word Doc that has few text boxes in the document. The text boxes are missing after the import in the Mellel document. Is there anyway to fix this?.

The iWork pages shows the correct formatting & the full content.

BTW, copying the text box from the Word document and pasting it in the Mellel works fine but, this will be a manual work for me and the Word document is pretty large. Its not worth doing things manually.

Mellel’s word import currently doesn’t support all word features (links, textart…) as Mellel doesn’t provide this features itself so it couldn’t display the imported content. I guess (but could not test currently) this also is true for text boxes.
You could try to save your Word document (in Word) as a RTF (Rich Text Format) file as the RTF importer of Mellel is way better than the Word importer.
