Mellel does not read RTF comments but author's name

Mellel does not read RTF comments (coming from Scrivener; they do work in Nisus).
I didn't know it does read them at all but now comes the weird part: The comments are not simply ignored but instead of the content of the comment the name of its author gets imported!
So it seems that Mellel has the (though very basic, the comments become plain text) ability to import RTF comments but reads the wrong variable.
