I am not very familiar with Quicklook so I'll appreciate any explanation as to how to activate it in or with Mellel.
TIA

Re: Quicklook and Mellel
In addition to the useful link above: QuickLook is mainly useful if you want to browse documents without opening them (which, evidently, will be done with Mellel anyhow).raymond wrote:I am not very familiar with Quicklook so I'll appreciate any explanation as to how to activate it in or with Mellel.

Re: Quicklook and Mellel
If I understand well, the new feature in Mellel is the compatibility of Mellel to Quicklook, which practically is part of the OS.

Re: Quicklook and Mellel
It's only one of the new features.
You are right, though, that it is (in a sense) part of the OS. As a consequence, if you are still on 10.4 (as I am) rather than 10.5, quicklook is not available anyway.

Also a lot of programs, first of all storage programs, use the Quicklook technology so now you can read and copy from Mellel files from within these applications without having to open Mellel. Very helpful feature.
