Figure legend in a table cell

Post by flike »

Hi,
In order to wrap text around an image, since it cannot be done in another way, I used the trick found here where you can put images and text in table cells. But by this way I am having trouble when trying to isert an auto-title (legend) below the image, because when I try to insert the auto-title with the cursor in the table cell nothing happens. I even tried to create the auto title outside of the table and then cut+paste it in the cell, but when I paste, instead of the title I get to have some symols like this; $$$$$ !!!
Am I doing sth wrong. By which other way I could create a wrap around image effect (like in MS Word), but still getting to have auto-title.
Thank you in advance

If I remember correctly, you cannot place auto-titles in table cells. This is a known limitation of Mellel at the moment.

Yes, actually you cannot. But, since one can't do that, or have flexible images that wrap around text, then you can't place images in table cells, as it was proposed elsewhere! Can sth else be done?
