Hello,
I am new to Mac and use Mellel to work on my Ph.D. Dissertation, which was originally written with MS Word. It is written in Hebrew and incorporates English, German, French and Latin quotations.
Import of RTL files functions very nice, including multilingual footnotes. However, i need to export all the files to Word though, as my supervisor uses a PC.
The only problem i encounter when i try to save the file in RTF format and open it withe MS Word is with footnotes: while first 2 footnotes are shown correctly (alignment is to the right, hebrew and latin shows correctly), other footnotes get completely mixed up - alignment turns to left, hebrew and latin words get all mixed up, the whole text cannot be reconstructed. This is very frustrating.
Could someone please help me fix this issue, so that i would be able to finally use my Mac and abandon my PC?
I use version 2.5, as version 2.6 actually has a bug and displays certain characters in German as question marks when i convert the file.
Thank you in advance.
