I just discovered, to my dismay, that it is not possible to place a tab in the "hanging" portion of a hanging intent.
Use case: I have a reference number that I would like to hang off the first line of an indented paragraph, but I would like the reference numbers to be right-justified. In other words, I need a right-justified tab 1/8" to the right of the paragraph indent.
Mellel will not allow tabs to be placed in the hanging portion of the hanging indent. It seems really dumb to have to use tables for something like this. I would really like to avoid that if possible.

Re: Tabs and Hanging Indents
What about a right or decimal tab, followed by a combo tab? This should be able to replicate your situation. (I know it's a workaround, but it's better than a table.)
