The track changes doesn't work

I have tried the track changes on a Mellel file.
After finishing, I wanted to close the track changes function and I got the following dialog box:

https://skitch.com/jackriklar/rk275/scr ... t-19.38.00

But, I couldn't get rid of it. Clicking on all the command buttons gave nothing.
Only force quit of Mellel "solved" the problem.
What it is? a bug?

I would say it's a bug. You should contact the Mellel support folks: support@redlers.com, since they may not see it on here.

It definitively sounds like bug. Can you reproduce this? If so, send us the file or reproduction sequence.

Raymond,

while the company itself is named redlex (with an x at the end) the correct domain is redlers.com (with an s at the end) so you should try to send the report again to support@redlers.com instead of redlex.com.

I got the email from raymond. It seems that it is indeed a serious problem and may affect others.

I haven't yet been able to determine why but it seems that for some documents, turning off track changes while in "Final" display mode will cause the sheet asking you to reject or accept all changes will get stuck forcing you to force Quit. (If you have other documents option, you can still save them)

We are working on a solution to this. In the meanwhile, you can work around the problem by switching to "Show Changes" mode before turning off track changes.
