Font Aberrations with Copy from Accordance to Mellel

When copying the following Accordance text Mellel the font seems to change although it copies without problems to MS Word for Mac 2004, Pages '09, and TextEdit and AppleWorks 6. It doesn't copy correctly to TextWrangler and it also doesn't copy correctly to this forum as the capital Pi's should be capital P's in the MSSRegular font. I would attach a screenshot if I knew how. If you give me and email address I will be glad to send the snapshots. I am guessing this has something to do with Mellel using it's own text rendering engine instead of Apple's. Any help would be appreciated.
