lodging a complaint (Mellel too complicated!)

While Mellel is definitely a powerful word processor, it has horrible defaults.

I wonder what, exactly, a "better" default style set would look like.

Not sure either. I guess having used styles sets in Mellel for years I don’t think too much about that anymore. I have what I need for each project.

But I would like to see cascading style sheets. For instance with Character Styles, change the font of one style and all styles built on that would change automatically. For Paragraph styles, again any style based on this particular style would also change (margins, indents, etc.).
