Bookends integration

Post by jsfueston »

Bookends integration isn't working. Is anyone else having the same problem? The Redlers haven't been able to get back to me, and i"m kind of desperate (I have papers due). Is anyone else having the same problem? Am I doing something wrong?

Problem fixed! I had renamed Mellel in the finder. This seems to have cause some confusion in the integration of the two programs. I hope this helps anyone with the same problem.

Apple Events (the technology used by Mellel and Bookends to communicate) are very buggy on 10.8.2. We are waiting for Apple to resolve these issues. In the meanwhile, you should be able to resolve these issues by logging out and logging back in.

"Logging out" and "logging back in"? I'm sorry, that isn't quite clear to me. Sorry. Can you explain?

Thanks. I've logged out and in. Nevertheless, the problem remains. I hope this is fixed sometime very soon. I'm working on things that will be sent to publishers very shortly.
